Form of workAbout the roleThe Practice Registered Nurse / Midwife oversees nursing services for patient care at the Alan Wolff Medical Centre, a specialised clinic serving Horsham and surrounding areas with permanent and visiting specialists. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you play a crucial role within the multidisciplinary healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients and their families. This is a fixed-term parental leave position until January 2025, would conside a job share for this role.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Current Division 1 nursing registration with AHPRA
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Well-developed written and computer literacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, flexible and manage time effectively
Desirable:
- Post graduate qualification in a related discipline
- Experience with general practice nursing
