We are a large, independently owned and managed, medical practice located in Sorell in the picturesque South East of Tasmania. We are proud of our values and workplace culture and aim to provide the highest level of healthcare to our patients and the community around us.
The Role:
We are after someone to continue to drive and enhance the operational and financial performance of the Practice, to ensure its sustainability in meeting the current and future needs of its community.
We need you to be able to continue our business and process improvement journey that streamlines and modernises our patient experience, whilst ensuring the Practice continues to support its patients, staff, nurses and doctors to the highest levels.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Practice provides best practice primary health care to the community
- Ensure process and systems are in accordance with RACGP National Standards for Accreditation
- Manage team performance of Practice clinical and non-clinical employees
- Source and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, health providers, and community organisations
- Develop and implement a Practice business plan which will enhance further an already high standard of patient health outcomes while driving financial sustainability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualifications and experience in business management
- The ability to develop and mentor teams and team members.
- Extensive experience in office management, preferably in the health care sector
- Knowledge in modern and efficient office and administration processes and systems
- Experience in operating in a regulated industry requiring accreditation compliance.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and employment conditions.
