Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the reception area and ensure a high standard of patient service and care.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and handling cancellations.
- Efficiently handle incoming calls, emails, and face-to-face inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Liaise with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Oversee patient billing and handle financial transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
- Train and mentor junior administrative staff.
- Assist in the implementation of new administrative processes and systems to improve efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has at least 3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Shows proficiency in using healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrates a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.
- Holds a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy laws.
- Is proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
- Has experience in leading a team and possesses strong leadership skills.
