Are you a Senior Civil Estimator with a proven track record of delivering successful bids for complex civil projects?
Do you have the skills and experience to lead a team of estimators and manage the pre-construction process from start to finish?
If so, we have an outstanding opportunity for you to join a leading civil contractor as a Pre-Construction Manager.
As Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the estimating and tendering process, including, developing and implementing strategies, managing internal collaboration and resources, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
You will also be involved in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Civil Estimator in the local Civil Construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Broad Civil Construction experience preferably in various bulk earthworks, subdivisions, roads, utilities, and other infrastructure.
- Team leadership
- A strong knowledge of the Australian Civil Construction market, relevant methodologies, and standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach to work.
