THE POSITION
As the Pre DeliveryAssistant Manager you will be responsible for keeping an even flow throughout the workshop by planning, monitoring and controlling all repair orders.
Supporting the Pre Delivery Manager you will assist with managing staff to improve the department and coordinate the day to day operation of the Pre Delivery Department.
The role will include:
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to perform required services when necessary.
- Overseeing the Scheduling Team.
- Assist with managing and training of the Pre Delivery staff.
- Review and discuss performance reports with the Pre Delivery Manager.
- Being responsible for scheduling a smooth flow of vehicles in and out of the Pre Delivery workshop.
- Track items and vehicles sent for repairs outside the company.
- Understanding time and labour requirements for each fitment and repair.
- Helping and supporting the Quality Assurance process.
Required skills:
- Background in an automotive/ mechanical repair environment.
- Exceptional delegation skills.
- Highly developed planning and organisational skills.
- Strong positive interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment.
