About the role

Are you ready to take your expertise in pricing and commercial analysis to new places? We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to play a pivotal role to lead the implementation of pricing strategies tailored to individual projects and customers.

This role will require you to collaborate across the organisation to align pricing strategies with project objectives and customer needs. This is a not to be missed opportunity to expand your skills and experience in Commercial, Pricing and/or Regulation.

Working within the Finance and Regulation division, the role will develop network and pricing analytical capability through analysis and application of regulatory changes, the Pricing Specialist role is responsible for -

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with project objectives, customer needs and business goals
  • Preparing comprehensive business cases for specific projects, incorporating robust pricing models and financial analysis
  • Formulating evidence-based recommendations for pricing, providing thorough analysis and insights to support decision-making processes
  • Implementing best practices in pricing analytics and contribute to the enhancement of analytical tools and methodologies

About you

We are seeking a results driven professional with a proven track record of strong communication and collaboration skills to provide specialist pricing advice with customer-centric outcomes.

Your proven experience in developing and implementing commercial and pricing strategies, coupled with your ability to formulate and influence evidence based recommendations to stakeholders will see you succeed in this role. The successful candidate will also hold -

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and communicate policy in relation to customer connections
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications that include a numerical/analytical component (i.e. economics, commerce, engineering)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights
  • Inspiring leadership skills and knowledge of regulatory frameworks and changes impacting the energy industry
