Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyse complex data sets and drive business decisions.
- Analysing customer quote data and constructing customer demand, price elasticity, and price optimization models from the ground up
- Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Working with sales teams to communicate underwriting decisions and enhance customer service.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in underwriting/pricing/analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).
- Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
