The Lower Primary classroom teacher should be able to demonstrate effective and inclusive teaching practices, strong organization as well as clear oral and written communication with staff and students. This position will require a professional manner, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as a part of a team as well as individually whilst maintaining flexibility in navigating daily events that might present themselves in the classroom. Experience using iPads and technology in a primary setting is desirable. All applicants should be able to demonstrate a Christian commitment in their personal lives.
Requirements include:
- Queensland College of Teachers current registration
- Written, current Pastor’s reference
Selection criteria includes:
- Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship
- Model Christian living and character
- Ability to integrate faith and learning in an authentic and engaging manner
- Effective teaching practices
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High degree of technological literacy
- Prior experience teaching using iPads preferable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Effective organisation and time management skills.
