About the Opportunity
William Clarke College is seeking an experienced and responsible Student Receptionist to provide frontline reception and administrative support to students and members of the College Community.
Reporting to the Head of Primary, you will be a person of initiative and flexibility, with the ability to empathise and problem solve. Key to the success of this position will be excellent communication and organisational skills, strong people management skills and the ability to problem solve whilst actively supporting the College’s Christian mission.
The position on offer is a permanent, full-time position, working term-time plus 5 weeks with an immediate start.
The hours are 8.00 AM till 4.00 PM.
About You
Proven experience in an administrative/receptionist role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management skills and the ability to organise and coordinate multiple priorities at once
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
Strong problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills
Collegiate and a good team player
Experience in educational setting is desirable
Actively support the College’s Christian ethos
The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
Regularly practicing member of a Christian church
