About the Role:
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will support consumers with severe and persistent mental illness living within the local community. In a recovery-oriented model of care, consumers, their families, and carers are provided with clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management. Service provision is recovery-oriented and trauma-informed, utilizing natural and existing community supports as required in the South West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments.
- Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions.
- Care coordination within a recovery-oriented model of care.
- Provide supervision and professional development per AHPRA requirements for registrar and intern psychologists.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated skills and broad experience in Mental Health clinical services.
- Ability to work within a team-based multidisciplinary model.
- Working knowledge of Recovery-Oriented practices, trauma-informed care, current Mental Health trends, legislation, and relevant policy directions.
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and proven ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Good judgement, work planning, decision-making abilities, and organisational skills.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientist, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 with the appropriate classification Psychologist Grade 1 or Grade 2.
