The Role
The College is seeking the services of an experienced Lower Primary Teacher to join the Primary School for the remainder of 2024, with the possibility of a permanent role in 2025.

- Queensland teacher registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills required
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Suitable qualifications in the field of education are expected with a minimum standard being a Bachelor Qualifications. (4 years trained).
- Ability to teach Years P-3.
- Working with Children Exemption Card (or the ability to obtain one).
- Current First Aid and CPR (desirable).
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities, including co-curricular.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, including a high-level of Literacy and Numeracy knowledge, with the capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice.
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills, including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with all stakeholders of a school community.
- Demonstrated understanding of how students learn and effective classroom teaching strategies, and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning.
