The Licensing and Advisory Services (LAS) unit is responsible for administering four key streams of operations - processing and advising on licensing and authorisations; the provision of advice on work health and electrical safety matters; triaging of workplace incident and complaint notifications; and compliance and business engagement to support the licensing framework.
The Assessment Services team manages the notification of incidents and complaints and triages notified events to achieve appropriate regulatory responses to health and safety issues in Queensland workplaces, in addition to managing other statutory authorisations including Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training and Work Health and Safety Officer (WHSO) authorisations.
As Principal Advisor, you will participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver advisory and assessment services in accordance with the endorsed business model in a work unit that receives, assesses and triages workplace health and safety, electrical safety and dangerous goods incident notifications and complaints.
