About the role:
The principal nursing and midwifery advisor, Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) is an integral member of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) Nursing and Midwifery Service and has a fundamental objective to reduce harm associated with Occupational Violence and aggression in the clinical environment.
Working directly with teams and individuals to address workplace hazards and implement strategies to minimise the risk of harm to staff exposed to violence and aggression in the workplace.
Leading change, coordinating delivery of initiatives and promoting continuous improvement across the NNSWLHD facilities and Services.
