The Principal Advisor to the CE is a role within Office of the Chief Executive & Governance and is accountable to the Director for:
- providing timely and high-level strategic advice to the Chief Executive
- coordinating and undertaking detailed, complex, technical, and sensitive policy work that impacts on the strategic, political, or operational outcomes for the Department.
- National Police Check required.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
The Office of the Chief Executive and Governance is responsible for a range of functions, including executive support, governance responsibilities, ministerial and chief executive correspondence and briefings, ministerial cabinet coordination, parliamentary business, coordination of policy advice on inter-governmental and intra-governmental matters, business intelligence and analysis, risk management, and coordination of responsibilities for services the department provides to the community.
The division is a key component in overseeing all departmental business, and ultimately helps enable our department to deliver effective services and supports for the South Australian community.

Salary Range: $119,317 - $123,822 (ASO8)
