The Asset Performance team is seeking an experienced Principal Airport Professional to join their team and the role can be based in either our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Office.
Working in a small and dedicated team, you will be involved in all stages of project lifecycle from identification through to delivery and completion. You will have the opportunity to help shape and contribute to the aviation sector, with particular focus on airside infrastructure such as aircraft pavements and lighting.
Main duties of the role
- You will be expected to deliver whole lifecycle of projects from inception through to completion. You will be expected to manage and lead projects with no or limited guidance or instruction
- Work with our multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical advice for outcome focused airport infrastructure solutions
- A key focus will be liaising with external stakeholders- you will be able to listen, accurately interpret their requirements and respond to clients in a timely manner
- Strong working knowledge of regulated aviation industry coupled with an understanding of associated legislation and standards
- Highly developed commercial acumen with the ability to articulate a proposition, prepare briefs and examine a scope of work document in a timely manner
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary degree
- 10-15+ years of relevant experience in the Airport industry with a focus on Airside Infrastructure and Asset Management
- Experienced and have strong understanding of airside infrastructure risk assessments related to both airports and airfields
- Have demonstrated program delivery experience with keen focus on balancing accountabilities across multiple projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and project management skills
- Australian Drivers Licence is required for this role
- Eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
