This is an initial six months contract with our client AGL with a potential to extend for longer.
Principal Architect leads and drives Integration workstream's architecture and design for transformation programs/initiatives. As an Architect, you will have the opportunity to shape our integration landscape, driving innovation, scalability, and efficiency across the organisation. Vanguard architect, that designs and enables future-state business capabilities with a focus on technology disruption, speed, agility, and flexibility that enables and drives new business models and designs, while meeting today's business needs with a focus on efficiency and predictability of the existing IT estate. This includes supporting the simplification, renovation, and modernisation of the technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Integration Leadership: Create and maintain the enterprise integration strategy aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
Design and Management: Lead the design and management of enterprise integrations, establishing best practices and ensuring high performance and security.
Multi-Cloud Solutions: Architect and design integration solutions spanning multi-cloud environments, optimizing cloud services for high availability and cost-effectiveness.
Event-Driven Architecture: Design Event-Driven Architecture solutions to enable real-time event processing and communication between systems.
Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce integration principles, standards, patterns, and guidelines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and technical leadership in integration strategies and technologies.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs, patterns, and decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Technology Transformation: Guide the organization's technology transformation by driving engineering and architectural excellence, simplified governance, and modern practices.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience: Proven experience in technology and architecture leadership.
Expertise: Proven experience as an Integration Architect with a focus on APIs, iPaaS, multi-cloud, EDA, and DDD.
Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and provide clarity on complex problems.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to drive business transformation through thought leadership and strategic thinking.
Proactive Attitude: A proactive personality with a can-do attitude, responsive to challenges.
Leadership Skills: Excellent ability to coach, motivate, and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
Stakeholder Management: Experienced in managing senior stakeholders.
