Principal Civil Engineer - Team Leader Buildings - ( Y ) Description We are seeking to appoint a Principal Civil Engineer - Team Leader Buildings for our Perth office. You will join existing experienced team of engineers and designers who are passionate about making a difference to the local area and being part of the exciting growth of this region. Some of the key aspects of the role are: To lead the team in achieving the outcomes and objectives identified in the Civil Buildings business strategy. To lead the overall performance of the team in terms of people, technical leadership, business development, project and operational management. To promote cooperation and cross-selling across all APAC business units through the general sharing of information, support, resourcing for projects in the interests of the overall good of the company. The Role Oversee all people management activity in their team; manage the people to deliver against agreed goals, strategies and KPIs. Oversee implementation of company systems and policies that ensure standards for all work are maintained for technical performance and avoidance of professional liability Work with Project Managers and Project Directors to balance project outputs with budget constraints to avoid project overruns (time, or cost). Work with Project Managers and Project Directors to implement project improvement plans when needed. Work with PMs/ PDs to ensure adequate project/ proposal resourcing About you Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Demonstrated experience within a civil infrastructure environment Demonstrated experience and relationships within stakeholders Strong client relationship and business development skills Excellent technical report writing skills Outstanding communication skills to liaise with the team, senior management and external partners to produce commercial, client focused outcomes What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
