Position Overview: As a Principal Consultant specializing in Financial Markets & Institutional Banking, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of their clients by delivering tailored solutions and strategic guidance. This hands-on position requires deep expertise in Financial Markets and institutional banking, coupled with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and services. Working closely with a lean team, you will have the opportunity to directly impact our clients' businesses and drive innovation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions tailored to address client requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Drive client engagements from initiation to delivery, managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic recommendations and enhance client value propositions.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, senior management, and internal teams, to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Markets, institutional banking, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on delivering client-facing solutions.
- Ex Consultants who have moved into Financial Markets or Institutional Banking businesses in product delivery are desired
- Proven expertise in financial products, including but not limited to equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products.
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets and institutional banking businesses and how they operate.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation, coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
