Job DescriptionAbout the OpportunityYour role as Principal, Delivery,
Impact Missions will focus on Urgent Challenges inclusive of Founder requests, crisis response, legacy projects, and active bodies of work. Reporting to the Director, Delivery, you will conduct landscape analysis, proposal assessment and analysis, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and support with the establishment and maintenance of impactful collaborations and relationships as required.Based in either Perth or Sydney, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing project design, delivery, and portfolio management in Impact Missions.
- Triaging and assessing new opportunities.
- Conducting detailed reviews of current and proposed work to optimise partner selection, budget allocation, program design, and project strategy.
- Conducting partnership landscape reviews and assessments for proposed Founder-led crisis response work, leveraging organisational expertise where required to feed in to reviews of partnership and project proposals.
- Managing an ongoing portfolio of partnerships in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Driving business case development through identifying and clarifying needs and opportunities.
- Supporting the Director in staying up to date with emerging local and global crises.
- Working closely with the Development team to maintain connection and transparency across bodies of work.
- Serving as liaison between internal stakeholders and partners.
- Developing briefing materials and reporting requirements across the Impact Projects portfolio.
QualificationsAbout YouTo be successful you will require expertise in program management and strategy, effectively managing partner and stakeholder relationships with universities and local or global not for profit organisations.A demonstrated knowledge of related issues and understanding of the complexity and challenges associated with responding to urgent societal challenges to deliver accelerated impact will see you thrive.In addition, you will have:
- A formal degree qualification ideally in Humanities, Commerce, Political Science, Economics, or Law, or work experience that is equivalent to a degree.
- Experience in philanthropy or not for profit management, management consultancy, law firm or accounting firm.
- Ability to quickly research and articulate complex problems, and identify solutions that consider risk, challenges, and opportunities for success with experience in improving outcomes and driving impact.
- Proven ability to problem-solve complex social, economic and or environmental problems and influence the agents of change for the benefit of our beneficiaries.
