Transgrid's System Security Analysis team is a newly created team within Network Planning, responsible for designing the future power system to ensure safe and secure operation at up to 100% instantaneous renewables, with a focus on analysing and developing new infrastructure and services for system strength, inertia and voltage support. Do you have a deep expertise in power system modelling and design, a creative mindset and a keen interest in new technologies like grid forming batteries? We are hiring for a Principal Engineer in the System Security Analysis team. The Principal Engineer provides technical leadership and undertakes specialist analysis to assess optimum solutions and technical requirements for system strength, inertia and voltage support and other stability issues, from equipment and services such as synchronous generators, synchronous condensers and grid forming batteries.
