Key Selection Criteria:Please only address the dot points listed below in your application
- Highly experienced geologist with significant industry experience and a proven project track record in both exploration and development scenarios.
- Knowledge of South Australian geology particularly in relation to prospective petroleum basins and emerging Energy Resources including industry operations.
- Sound knowledge of the global and local economic landscapes and issues affecting the upstream petroleum sector, the emerging energy resource sector (e.g. natural hydrogen) and the South Australian economy - in the context of critical social, economic and commercial considerations.
- Deep understanding of effective investment attraction strategies aimed at the global upstream petroleum exploration industry.
Qualifications: Essential: Degree in Science majoring in geology or geophysics (Hons).
Desirable: Post graduate qualifications in Petroleum Geology and/or Energy Geoscience.
Remuneration:PO4, $109,060 - $118,690 per annum Full-time role working 37.5 hours per week
Special Conditions:DEM encourages flexible working arrangements such as part time work, job share, compressed weeks and purchased leave. Arrangements are negotiated with the appropriate Manager.
- International and interstate travel may necessitate periods of absence.
- The successful applicant must be eligible to work in Australia.
