• Prison and Youth Detention Health Services (PYDHS) provide primary health services to several correctional and youth detention facilities located within the West Moreton Health (WMH) region, making WMH the largest correctional health service in the state.
• Temporary Full-time opportunity for up to 6 months
About the role
In the position of Principal House Officer/Registrar you will be expected to participate in the provision of high-level primary health care services within Prison and Youth Detention Health Services and to ensure that safe, high quality, patient centered care is provided. In the role of Principal House Officer/Registrar you will be supported and encourage to expand your education and training in primary health care and become an important member of a dynamic and passionate Prison and Youth Detention Health Services team.

- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality medical care to patients in primary health care.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
