Principal Payments Architect

As a Principal Payments Architect, you will play a vital role in simplifying technology platforms, with the aim of transforming the way services are delivered to customers.
We are seeking a candidate with a background in card payments, more specifically self service devices such as ATM, CDM or CEM.
Key Skills:

• Experience in card payments particularly in self service devices (ATM/CDM/CEM)

• Knowledge of application hosting in either AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Extensive experience in cards issuing spanning origination's and product servicing, predominantly in the business and corporate customer segments

• Experience in information security concepts and how they can be applied to deliver secure solutions.

• Experience working with external partners, vendors, card schemes, and industry bodies around innovations and mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and gain endorsement for the strategic reference architecture and road map to plan and guide investments in Payments domain or sub-domain.

• Convert business objectives into the architecture and design that make up the solution blueprint for projects/investments.

• Identify the repeatable design patterns that should be applied within the domain and ensure that they are appropriately applied.

• Provide guidance to solution designers on the architecture, engineering and SRE principles.

• Deploy the solutions using modern architecture patterns and technologies.

• Review the detailed design of the solution ensuring it aligns to the higher-level architectures.
