An opportunity exists for this brand-new role in HR Operations to lead and deliver quality service to the payroll teams whilst meeting legislative and strategic objectives.
This includes:
Employee Engagement and Relations - Increase capacity to provide leadership and guidance around IR legislation and Certified Agreement (CA) requirement interpretation while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Strategic Planning - Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation's objectives, ensuring HR Operations support and enhance overall business goals.
Operational Leadership and Support - in addition to leading and optimizing aspects of Payroll Operations which includes payroll, benefits administration and HRIS management compliance; engage with the Machinery of Government (MoG) Project Team as a regular point of contact for Payroll and Establishment.
Performance Management and Team Development - Support the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting mentoring and fostering professional growth and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
Process Improvement - while ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, employment laws and regulations; identify opportunities to effectively and efficiently enhance processes to maintain alignment with organisational objectives.
