Our Opportunity

Work Location: Perth, with some site travel. Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday - Friday

Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Planning & Decarb for the Northern Hub, this role will be responsible for all areas of planning within the Hedland operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance analytics
  • Preparation of assumptions for all planning horizons (2yr to 2wk)
  • Improvement Project Management & Delivery
  • Data Analytics & Root Cause Analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement to ensure a sound understanding of existing processes, end-user requirements and effective change management.
  • Facilitate workshops to help ensure the consideration of differing opinions and options.
  • Effectively present findings and updates to Management in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications and Experience

  • Postgraduate education in a business or mining related discipline
  • 5+ years of operational experience in a similar role within the Rail, Port or planning area
  • Experience working within both Operations and/or Maintenance
  • Attention to detail and proficient problem solving abilities
  • Strong communication / interpersonal / facilitation skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with and influence others
