Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Designer to join our Perth office.
About the role
- Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using MicroStation and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Develop electrical and instrumentation schematics
- Interpretation and implementation of required standards and client specifications
- Bring your expertise in mineral processing/mining projects, showcasing your ability to navigate complex electrical requirements.
- Familiarity with Australian standards and regulations is a must to ensure project compliance.
- Assist in cost estimation for electrical components and systems, optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical designs, changes, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all electrical designs adhere to quality standards and are aligned with project objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure project success.
About you
- Proven and practical experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working in engineering consulting or EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors
- Proficient with AutoCAD & Microstation to produce Electrical drawings
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
