Due to our sustained growth, we are seeking a seasoned Principal Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical guidance, leading a small team, and overseeing detailed design work in the oil and gas, energy, chemical and /or water industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Oversee and contribute to detailed design projects in the oil and gas, energy, chemical or water industries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver outstanding design solutions.
- Provide technical advisory and support throughout various project phases.
- Utilise expertise in hazard analysis and Process Engineering to ensure project success.
Role Requirements & Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Process Engineering.
- Background in oil and gas, energy, chemical, and water industries.
- Proven experience in detailed design and addressing technical queries.
- Familiarity with hazard analysis tools and processes.
Skills:
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in both conceptual and detailed design work.
- Technical proficiency in Process Engineering.
- Expertise in utilising HYSYS for process simulations.
- Experience with hydraulics packages for comprehensive system analysis.
- Experience with HAZOP or LOPA facilitation is advantageous but not essential.
