Catch supports Hybrid working – which means a mix of working remote and in our 699 Collins Street Support Centre.

Shopping Experience (SX) and Customer Experience (CX) at Catch plays a key role in customer acquisition, conversion, and retention by delighting our customers and scaling the Catch business.

The Principal Product role leads the SX and CX practice at Catch including UX. We are looking for a leader with strong domain knowledge and experience in the overall customer journey in a customer centric organisation with retail/ecomm background.

This role partners closely with executives, operations, and technology leaders to understand Catch’s strategic vision, set product strategies and work collaboratively with others to bring them to life through web, mobile, and marketing channels.

This is a key leadership role at Catch. In collaboration with peers, the role takes on key initiatives across architecture, operations, delivery, and culture that improve the overall effectiveness of the product and technology functions.

Role Highlights:

  • Define and communicate product strategy and roadmap for the shopping and customer experience domain to meet Catch’s strategic objective, considering costs, benefits, risks, constraints.
  • ·Experience in designing and scaling out a product including defining new features, service design and customer journey mapping in all digital channels including mobile.
  • ·  Work cross functionally, aligning objectives and key results with internal stakeholders such as product, technology, marketing, eCommerce/Trade, and others to develop clear plans and outcomes.
  • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
  • Work with the delivery, engineering, architecture and other teams to deliver initiatives which optimise our customers’ experience in a way that fit into Catch’s product and technology ecosystem.
  • Where required, lead a program to deliver outcomes within the Shopping and Customer Experience domain.
  • Test and learn product concepts using the relevant tools to find the right product fit
  • Take products to market, carefully managing any customer or operational change
  • Continuously monitor and optimise performance of the live product set
  • Manage risk and issues
  • Capture lessons learned to adjust the strategy or roadmap
  • Collaborate closely with key senior stakeholders across the business and technology to define the product vision and strategy.
  • Serve as the voice of the stakeholder and conversely represent the delivery team to stakeholders; identifies and help the client understand the business model, value proposition.

What you’ll bring to the table?

  • 10+ years’ experience in a product function, end-to-end product lifecycle from inception to delivery to implement the product and technology strategy.
  • 10+ years experience as a product manager in a digital environment.
  • 5+ years experience managing product portfolios
  • Strong product design.
  • Experience in balancing customer experience and commercial reality.
  • Strong stakeholder expectation management and communication.
  • Experience in retail, marketplace or ecommerce is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a dynamic agile environment.
  • Focus on delivering outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Deep, genuine lean/agile experience and working across scaled teams.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, organisational, and leadership skills across all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills, balancing short and long-term horizons.
  • Confident with technologies used in product development.
