Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy, significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
The Digital Metro North Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment Project (CHRP) Digital team is looking to fill the role of Principal Project Manager on the Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment Project. With the new Clinical Services Building now open and operational contributing to positive patient and business outcomes, project work now turns to the refurbishment of the existing hospital. The role forms part of a multidisciplinary project team delivering complex, high quality, timely, and cost effective digital and ICT strategies to support Metro North Health's digital transformation agenda. The CHRP initiative also includes augmentation of existing services, solutions, and infrastructure across Caboolture Hospital campus, enhancing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ICT solutions that support non-clinical areas and functions of Metro North Health.
Working within the Digital Portfolio Services, this role reports to the Digital Delivery Stream Lead and works with key stakeholders across the program to ensure all aspects of the stream plan are achieved. Implementing and commissioning cutting edge technologies, your new team will be responsible for uplifting Queensland Health digital capabilities while adding value to the community. The Principal Project Manager role entails assisting in all aspects of the project lifecycle from stakeholder engagement through to project administration. To be considered for the role, you would ideally have 2-3 years' experience working in project environments within Queensland government or a health environment.
Note: This position requires onsite delivery at Caboolture and at different times during the tenure. It is important the successful applicant is able to work from this location 50% of the time and up to 80-100% during Decant/Go-Lives.

Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Five or more years' experience in the delivery of complex digital or ICT projects and delivering services to large, complex organisations, preferably in the health care sector and in managing large project budgets.
- Proven expertise in, and application of, appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2), and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate project and program management techniques, methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience in the effective governance, assurance, benefits management, lessons learned, change management and performance management that contributes to the overall achievement of the digital projects.
