To be successful in this role, you must be a subject matter expert when it comes to backend Software Engineering and have very strong recent experience with Solution Design, Cloud and Kubernetes!
This role will be very strategic and you will be working on assessing, exploring, and researching new ways of working and advising the company on how they can take their applications to the next level.
If you have worked as a Software Engineer for most of your early career and then moved into a Principal / Staff / Lead Engineer or Solution/Domain Architect level role - we would love to hear from you!

Experience We Are Looking For:
- Extensive experience with Solution Design and Architecture, ideally in a high-traffic and customer-focused environment.
- Strong Cloud Platforms experience (GCP and/or Azure)
- Strong Kubernetes / CI/CD / DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience (IaaS)
- Expert across Solution Architecture, Design Patterns, Best Practices etc
- Strong experience with Microservices & Event-driven Architecture
- Strong experience with .NET and/or Node.js (React.js would be a bonus)
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work closely with and present to Senior Stakeholders and 'Head of' level colleagues
- Experience with POCs, prototyping, and delivering large enterprise-level applications
