The company
Our client is an emerging leader within the Hi-tech engineering product development space, with a strength in developing cutting edge technology for an incredibly Niche environment. Due to recent expansion, the company is seeking a strong Principal Software Engineering background with experience in OOP to join the business.
The role
Reporting into the Head of Engineering and sitting within the software development team, your responsibilities will include:
Day-to-day software development of current modules to support ongoing projects, developing new code or optimising existing code as required.
Incorporating strict software prototype and test cases to support a high-quality delivery of software modules.
Assisting in the development of new projects, focus on designing robust specifications and new modules to support customer expectations.
Working with cross functional internal teams across both existing and new projects, to ensure all stakeholders involved in the PDLC are well informed.
Developing code in line with strict regulatory and global standards.
Your background
In order to be successful in this position, you will be:
Degree qualified in computer science, software engineering or electrical/electronics engineering.
Strong, proven experience developing OO code within a highly regulated environment.
Must have strong experience in delivering highly complex software code to a highly regulated environment.
You will be a well communicative and quality focused individual that enjoys working cohesively within a supportive team environment.
