Form of workOur client, located in Kilsyth, is a leading and major packaging manufacturer seeking a Printing Assisting to join their growing team in their prinitng department. The role is a temp to full-time position, with rotating shifts pattern required (2 weeks Day Shift / 2 weeks Afternoon Shift). An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
The role Set up, monitor & adjust the printing process using the control panel or computer. Prepare machines for priming and install the printing plate with the images to be primed. Ink the presses, load paper, and adjust the press to the required paper size.
Adjust the flow of ink to the inking rollers, whilst managing the distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber. Conformance and quality checking products once printed. The successful candidate Experienced printer (previous Lithographic or KBA printers highly regarded).
