Brady Australia is seeking an experienced Print Production Operator to bring their manufacturing skills and experience to this varied and challenging role.
You will be responsible for producing on time, quality product to order specifications. You need to have the willingness and flexibility to work in other areas of our production team, and be able to learn new and different tasks relating to printing, cutting, assembling, lay-up and finishing.
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, this role will be responsible for:
- Focusing on output, quality, quantity, cost and timeliness
- Ensuring most efficient workflow to ensure optimal machine utilization
- Printing (signs and labels) on various materials (ie. poly, metal, self-adhesives) across various sizes
- Forme cutting, assembly, laminating and finishing
- Machine cleaning and upkeep
- An awareness and full commitment to safety
- Quality focused and an eye for detail
- Delivering for both the business and customers
What you'll bring
- Experience operating a variety of printing technologies such as graphics flatbed machines, labels and digital printing/finishing equipment
- Qualifications in print/manufacturing, or equivalent experience
- Adobe Illustrator experience or other design programs
- SAP experience highly regarded, but not mandatory
- Hands on experience in sign and labels manufacturing
- Proven ability to learn and work in a team environment with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Willingness to be cross-trained across different areas in the production team
- Forklift licence preferable, but not essential
