Print Production & Signage Installer

Continued growth means an opening for someone to join our close-knit team. Adprint Digital is a local, family-owned and operated digital print and wide-format visual communications company. We work in a fun, friendly environment to service our local retail, private, and government client base.

We need a full-time, motivated, enthusiastic person to perform all aspects of production, from print to installation. If you have experience in the print industry or would like to explore this as a new career option, AdPrint Digital is seeking a production and installation team member to join their team.  You would bring your sense of professionalism, be highly reliable and enjoy a laugh while at work to help us deliver the high-quality digital and wide-format print products we have built our reputation on with our Canberra-based clients.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of wide-format printed material, signage and banners
• Operation & maintenance of digital, flatbed and roll-to-roll print machines, including Konica Minolta, Xerox Acuity and HP Latex machines.
• Operation of Flatbed Cutter, experience with Esko preferable
• Production processes, including trimming, mounting, laminating, finishing, packaging and handwork as necessary
• Meet quality assurance guidelines to ensure standards are maintained
• Working with our graphic designers to ensure files are suitable and ready for print 
• Liaising with the other team members to be clear on job requirements and deadlines
• Help maintain stock levels of media, inks, tools and packaging materials 
• Keeping the workshop neat, tidy and organised
• There may be a requirement to work overtime from time to time

This is a permanent role in our evening/night team, working from 2pm to 10pm Mon-Thurs and 9am to 5.30pm Friday.

Ideally, you would have some experience in the digital print and signage industry, but if you are keen and happy to commit to learning a new role, we will provide you with on-the-job training from highly skilled and respected staff with many years of industry experience.

This role is for someone with an awesome work ethic, a flexible can-do attitude, and strong attention to detail—someone who takes pride in their work.

Most installations are after business hours in the Canberra retail sector, so an ability and willingness to work overtime is required.

Experience in the printing industry would be an advantage but not essential. We need the applicant to hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle. A forklift licence and/or Elevating Work Platform (EWP) certification would be beneficial.  At a minimum, applicants should be Australian residents.

Most importantly, you must be reliable and professional.
