Au Pair MUST already be in Australia and able to start on MARCH 6th 2024. We also require an Au Pair who is legally able to drive in Australia*
March 7th 2024 start – until April 4th 2024 (5 weeks short stay). Based in the beautiful regional City of Mildura along the Murray River, at the top of Victoria… 4 hours from Adelaide City and the Beach ⛱️
Our beautiful Au Pair is leaving us shortly to continue her travels in Australia ? We are seeking a new ‘big sister’ to join our adventurous family of 6.
We are going on holiday in Mid March to the Bellarine Peninsula – our Au Pair will be welcome to join us for this bonding experience! ?
We are an experienced host family, with English & Aboriginal heritage. We have been thankful to have had amazing experiences with incredible Au Pairs. Our current Au pair (from Germany) will be levaing us to travel around AUS and NZ before heading back home to commence her university studies. Our Au Pair has become a very treasured part of our family whom we hope to always remain close and connected to!
We are an adventurous, active and busy family who love to spend our free time entertaining friends and family, travelling or just doing fun stuff with the kids! We are both active firefighters in the CFA (Country Fire Authority) as well as busy professionals also! My husband is a mechanical engineer and maintainence manager for an international company. I am a social worker working to keep children + families safe! We live in an area with plenty of wildlife and warm sunny days! Local shopping malls, hospitals, walking trails, camping spots, world hertiage sites, great cafes and world class tourism hotspots all within 30 minutes – 1 hour drive!
The details:
You will have FOUR FULL DAYS OFF each fortnight: Time for yourself to relax, study or explore our beautiful region, or to join us for family activities/excursions or holidays if we are planning one, or whatever we are doing that weekend – you will always be invited!
We wish to advise that this is a ‘Demi Au Pair’ Role with 15 hours per week of duties expected to cover board, meals & vehicle use. There is no weekly payment for the first 15 hours, however any additional duties outside the 15 hours will be paid at $20AUD per hour pocket money.
Our Au Pair will have unlimited access to our large family home, including a shared bathroom with spa bath, solar heated swimming pool, Netflix, streaming services and unlimited Wifi. We provide our Au Pair with a car for daily use (automatic transmission) + weekly petrol/gas ?
Our Au Pair will stay in our modern 26ft Jayco Basestation, where they can enjoy their own personal space and some quiet time! Our caravan is very good quality (see photos) with double bed, TV, kitchen, toilet, shower, and efficient heating and cooling.
Our area has loads of jobs available for our Au Pair to work and make friends during their free time. 88 days sign off possible via local farm work!! As connected community members we can assist you to find part time or casual work ?
You will need:
✅Conversational English
✅A ️Drivers Licence
✅ A love of children + genuine empathy
Duties will be include;
⭐️ transporting the family and children to and from school, and work 5 days per week.
⭐️caring for children during emergency call outs (when we are paged to a fire or motor vehicle accident).
⭐️housekeeping and cleaning, assistance with meals, and preparing lunches for school.
⭐️ Assisting with appointments and activities.
In exchange you will receive:
❤️ your own private luxury caravan with an ensuite and television.
❤️ unlimited wifi and streaming services.
♥️ several days and weekends off….Hours will vary day to day, but will be a total of 15 hours per week!
♥️ an automatic vehicle to transport the children and also for your personal use on your days off.
