About the Role
As a Private Banker in our ANZ Private, you’ll play a key role in helping with high-net-worth individuals and families, supporting their wealth and goals. Our experienced team take the time to recognise the needs of our client – by building a relationship and getting to know them, their goals and understanding the family's structure. By doing so, we offer clients a personalised approach with sought-after access to 'whole of bank' solution.

What will your day look like?
In this Melbourne based role you will work alongside a Senior Private Banker and a Private Banker to support a top performing, business development growth set with clients that have complex requirements around investment and family wealth strategies, debt-driven approaches, philanthropy and impact investing, and financial advice.
You will be one of the primary relationship contacts, responsible for delivering outcomes for your clients supported by an associate and specialists. You will build capability around both Judgmental & Mortgage Credit policies & processes as well as refining your relationship management skills.
What will you bring?
To be successful in the role, you will have the following experiences, knowledge, and skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted relationship banker who can represent clients’ interests and evolving needs
- Lending/credit capability (Consumer and/or Commercial), particularly around cashflow management
- An awareness of investments including equities, discretionary investments
- Knowledge of transactional banking and ability to navigate ANZ products, systems & processes
- Exceptional communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to proactively problem solve on behalf of clients & ANZ.
- Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution
