About the role:
You will be part of an experienced team of engineers supporting our operations. You'll have the opportunity to be developed and mentored by more senior engineers, as well experience autonomy in your day to day work to the sites you support. In this role, you can expect to:
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to monitor consumption of process consumables and provide strategies to help contain costs to achieve cost effective plant outcomes and optimisation.
- Manage communication of pertinent process information between Sedgman operational sites
- Provide technical support to sites for improvement, maintenance and modification.
- Manage plant process checks, maintenance inspections and audits, daily, weekly, monthly or as required.
- Complete design checks, resolve process issues, process calculations and plant optimisation.
- Maintain and validate data integrity of the metallurgical data management system.
- Manage and commission small projects.
- Review and update As Built drawings and site procedures.
- Perform process modelling as required.
- Compile technically accurate reports to support Operations Engineering activities.
- 2-3 years’ experience in operational or design Engineering capacity
- Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgy or Minerals Processing)
- Experience in production reporting systems, historian data analytics or other data and document management systems highly regarded.
- High level of knowledge MS Office Suite
- Ability to work safely and effectively unsupervised as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
