Vinidex is looking for a 3rd year student engineer to perform work experience as a 3-month contract. You will support the PVC recylcling commissioning teams and the engineering team.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Engineering Processing and Production Teams to commission new production lines including developing concise commissioning plans, documenting material trials, data collection and creating SOPs to support production.
- Support the engineering team by specify, quoating and documenting the design of new equipment installations
- Support the Production team with troubleshooting
- Ensure and maintain safe workplace and work practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Science related discipline
- Experience with MS Office and CAD software
- Practical experience in equipment commissioning and lab work
- Problem solver with the ability to make decisions and deliver practical solutions
- Team player that can communicate and collaborate across cross functional teams with all stakeholders.
