The Role
In this newly created role, you will work with the Quality Control team to identify, design, and implement key Process Improvements across the manufacturing operations. You can expect to be pivotal in driving quality enhancements, improving workplace health & safety, optimising operational workflows, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead quality control initiatives to reduce defects and ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects, including impacts on quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Coordinate with the health and safety team to improve workplace safety, including factory housekeeping.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills in quality control, lean manufacturing principles, and safe work practices.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to minimise waste and maximise efficiency across production lines.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive Process Improvements and problem-solving efforts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Process Improvement, quality control, and work health and safety.
About you
This is a role for someone who is comfortable working in a team and has an ability to influence others. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of initiative that will allow you to succeed in this proactive work.
Demonstrated experience in Process Improvement, quality control and lean manufacturing is essential to your success in this role.
