About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for meat Process Labourers currently exists at our Scone, NSW plant. There are 100 positions available!
The hourly rate is $26.0179 (Level 2) as per the Scone Enterprise Agreement 2018. This is a 5-day operation with around 430 employees. Located about 283kms north of Sydney, 150kms north of Newcastle. JBS Scone is a well-known Meat Processing Facility.
We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals who are committed to safety, productivity and are after a long-term career in the meat industry.
The role’s responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Handling raw meat and animal bi products
• Physical repetitive labour and heavy lifting
• Trimming, packing or labelling and cleaning
• Machine operations
Ability to work in a repetitive and fast paced environment
Willing to undergo Q Fever Vaccination, or have completed Q Fever Vaccination
Reliable and punctual
Must have full working rights
Own reliable transport to and from work
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Residing in the local area will be highly regarded
