Leather Processing Labourers

Our client located in Gunnedah NSW 2380 is a specialised Wetblue Tannery.
Roles start in June 2024. 48 months of work on offer
Full Time work minimum 38 hours per week.
10 roles on offer - no experience required.
Starting pay is $23.23/hour Level 2 C13 as per the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020. Additional payments or penalties are as per the Award
Onsite training provided with progression opportunities.
Monday to Friday, Morning and Afternoon Shifts 5am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm some weekend work required with alternating start and finish times
Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
The role
• Assisting tradepersons where required, IE. General machine maintenance
• Heavy lifting of animal skins
• Cleaning work area
• Machine operation
• Pack and Weigh animal coverings
• Work in dirty smally conditions
Criteria
• Work well in a team environment
• Safety conscious and able to follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Guaranteed commitment to shift times, being flexible and punctual
• Ability to conduct physical work in hot and cold environments
• Possess a positive working attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical, which includes Drug and alcohol testing
