Job description
Blazing Labour PTY Ltd requires 200 Meat Process Workers to carry out general
labouring tasks in a Meat Processing plant located in Cootamundra, NSW. These permanent full
time positions will look to commence in April-June 2024. You will be employed on a (full-time)
basis under the terms and conditions of the Meat Industry Award 2020 (MA000059) and receive a
minimum of 38 hours per week.
The work is usually performed between the hours of 0600 – 1500 Monday to Friday and may also be
required to work weekends / PH’s, as required by the Employer.
Work is expected to commence in April 2024 and be available permanently.
No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.
You will be required to use tools and equipment for Meat Processing, work in a team with others,
and have the ability to work quickly and with accuracy.

About you
This type of work can be physically demanding and strenuous, requiring a good level of general
fitness and hygiene (being part of the food industry), the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long
periods of time and carry out repetitive tasks.
Workers must be reliable and motivated, be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Q-fever immunisation is mandatory. All successful applicants must either be vaccinated or be willing
to have the vaccination prior to starting work at the plant.
