Process Line Operator With Forklift Ticket

Do you like working with automation? Our client is a dynamic and robust manufacturer of packaging and other products with operations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. As part of our growth strategy, we have diversified into crate pooling systems at our Heathwood location.

We have opportunities for motivated Process Line Operators to join the team in Heathwood to manage our State of the Art crate washing facility. You will be operating a Process Line, and working on the forklift when required.

Role: Process Line Worker and Forklift Operator
Start date: ASAP
Shift time: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay rate: $38.82 p.h

This will include, but is not limited to completing duties such as:
- Reporting directly to the Team Supervisor, this role requires versatility in a fast-paced environment
- Employees may shift from position to position as necessary throughout a shift
- Operating a high-tech Cleaning Machine
- Loading and unloading crates onto the conveyor and trucks using Counterbalance Forklift
- General cleaning duties
- Rebuilding crates
- Some computer work (experience with Word and Excel is essential)
- Working with Automation
- SAP experience (preferred)

Preference will be given to applicants who possess technical or mechanical mentality, and are able to demonstrate the ability to self-manage, work autonomously and  think logically.

In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following qualities;

- Be able to work unsupervised, autonomously or with a Team
- High quality verbal and communication skills 
- Excellent time management skills 
- Exposure to automation and controls
- The ability to problem solve within an unfamiliar environment 
- Counterbalance (LF) Forklift Ticket

You must be willing to undergo pre-employment medicals and a National Criminal history check if required.
