What does the role involve
We have exciting opportunities for Process Operators to join our team. Reporting to the Production Manager, these roles are at the very heart of our business by making our NU-LAX products, which we are known and loved for! Working at our immaculate and impressive Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) licensed facility in Rowville, we have two separate teams – Process and Packing.
Process Operators will primarily prepare batches of NU-LAX products and follow a standardised recipe. The batch process has several stages, which involve good written and numeracy skills, some repetitive lifting (up to a maximum of 12.5kg), weighing, measuring, and batch mixing. Working and documenting to high quality standards will keep you stimulated physically and mentally!
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate equipment, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and ensure procedures comply with our OH&S, Quality and performance standards
- Daily and weekly external cleaning of machinery, workstations and surrounding areas to the highest standard.
- Maintaining health, safety and hygiene standards to ensure all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are met
- Assisting in trialing and implementing New Product Development (NPD) initiatives
- Assisting in implementing new and improved processes to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Company
- Maintaining equipment in working order and raising any equipment repair requirements
- Working autonomously and as team member to deliver daily production requirements against performance criteria

The Ingredients for Success
- A strong commitment to safe working practices and a proven history of following work instructions, procedures and policies
- A working knowledge of production and systems and the ability to operate various pieces of equipment in a plant
- Adequate literacy and numeracy skills to read and follow safe work practice documentation and calculate formulation measurements.
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day, 4 days a week 6am - 4pm
- The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision as well as work effectively within a team environment
- High levels of punctuality and attendance
- Physical stamina and capability for manual labour and repetitive tasks
