THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Operatorbased locally in either Ravensthorpe or Hopetoun to join our friendly and supportive Processing Crew at our Mount Cattlin Operation.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To conduct site process plant operations to establish efficient and effective processing production operations.
Including operating ore processing and screening plants using manual and computer-based systems, conveyers, feeders, weight-meters, pumps, cyclones, dense media separation plant; loading, unloading and storing materials such as treatment chemicals and tools; maintaining auxiliary systems, such as drainage, fluids-pouring and conveyor-belt systems. Additionally, you will undertake all responsibilities in a safe manner to ensure a safe working condition for yourself, the team, contractors & visitors.
As our preferred candidate you will be required to participate in a verification process which will include:
- provision of a recent National Police Clearance
- pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing);
- proof of the right to work in Australia;
- probation period of 6 months
- minimum of 2 reference checks from recent employers
ABOUT YOU
- Current Manual WA Drivers License
- Experience in mining treatment plant operations within the plant and in control room with skills related to Screens, Cyclones, Dense Media Separation, Thickener, Water management, Pumps & Piping
- Strong computer skills
- Local resident to Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun or the surrounding areas.
- Cert II or Cert III Resource Processing(Desirable)
- Cert III Surface Extraction Operations(Desirable)
