About the role:
Remotely monitoring and controlling site functions from a centralised control room
Responsible for a specific control room function
Opportunity to gain a well-rounded exposure across different control room functions
A casual role with great opportunities and exposure to a large mining site
Working a 7/7, 12 hour shift roster, rotating between days and nights
Key Responsibilities:
Incident response and management
Manage communication and escalate as necessary
Multitask high volumes of requests whilst managing multiple actions and scenarios in real time
Provide timely and accurate information and advice as required
Operate the required software applications, data entry and general administration
About You:
Must have intermediate IT/computer skills
Have the ability to learn new software quickly
Experience with DCS (Yokogawa), Pitram, Citect, Modular or similar operating interface would be well regarded
Be able to problem solve and multitask
Be a team player with highly developed communication skills
Be self-motivated and have a resilient attitude that thrives under pressure
Must have a current drivers licence and pass a drug & alcohol test
