ASC is Australia's submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy's Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats' service lives. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.About the OpportunityThe Procurement Administrator is to assist in the purchasing of materials and services to support the ASC facility and maintenance activities of Collins Class Submarines.This is a 4-month fixed term contract.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for ensuring materials are available via expedition, resolution of exceptions and ensuring that materials are acceptable with respect to objective quality evidence, as well as maintain data and metrics relating to Supply Chain and Supplier performance. These activities are to be undertaken in accordance with ASC's procurement strategy, guidelines, policies and procedures.About youTertiary qualifications in Supply Chain preferred or someone who is currently furthering their education in this field.

  • Commitment, drive, organization skills, initiative, and enthusiasm
  • Experience and knowledge with use of an MRP systems.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills; build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Clear concise and effective written and verbal communications.
EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
