Your new role

We’re looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference—for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.

We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join a friendly and high-performing team as part of CSC’s Finance business area. In your new role, you will be a key point of contact within the broader organisation and be responsible for the maintenance of accurate vendor, contracts and other procurement-related data within the CSC Financial Information Management System (FIMS).

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Timely processing of Spending Proposals and Contracts within the FIMS in accordance with the Procure to Pay Procedures.
  • Monitoring the Procurement Services inbox, responding to routine procurement queries, and assisting users with the contracts and procurement functions within the FIMS.
  • Working with business areas and Accounts Payable to ensure the on-time payment of our vendors.
  • Maintaining contract records within the FIMS to ensure data quality against the standards set within the Procure to Pay Procedures.
  • Extracting contracts data from the FIMS to assist the team’s analysis, as well as assisting to prepare biannual Senate Order reports.
  • Printing/preparing Purchase Orders for the business as required.
  • Providing continuous improvement of the above processes so that they continue to meet regulatory standards and support the business to achieve improved member outcomes.

What you’ll need to excel

  • Higher education in finance or procurement-related field (e.g. legal studies)
  • Knowledge and experience in procurement processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in an information management system
  • Experience using data to drive process improvements
