About the Role

As the Procurement and Reporting Coordinator, you’ll be part of the Procurement and Reporting Team. This is a newly designed role and is part of a new team, we are currently recruiting for some of these team members.

This team is part of the wider Commissioning and Development Team. The team, and the work they do is essential to our core business, achieving positive health outcomes in the community through best practice outcome-based and collaborative commissioning. 

In this role, your day to day will be busy and varied. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the tender and procurement process at WentWest, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations. You’ll assist the Procurement and Reporting Manager in coordinating reporting activities to meet internal and external business requirements.

Your day will include:

  • Efficiently coordinating the end-to-end procurement process, encompassing needs identification, supplier sourcing, independent panel setup, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation and awarding, and assurance of legal compliance.
  • Collaborating with legal and probity colleagues to ensure procurement documents and contracts align with the needs across the commissioning lifecycle.
  • Coordinating the creation of contracts, manage provider signatory processes, and facilitate the handover of signed contracts and documents to the relevant Contracts team members, setting them up for success.

We’re looking for someone who :

  • 2-3 years' experience in a procurement planning, purchasing, projects or coordinator role
  • Experience in procurement administration or working in a process driven environment
  • Strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team
  • Ability to work within an environment managing multiple priorities, time pressures and deadlines

To be the successful candidate you must meet the position requirements as well as provide a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check. Current NSW Drivers Licence and access to transport as regular travel is required as part of the role within the Western Sydney area is required. Full working rights to work in Australia are required for this role.
