• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
• Managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
• Leading high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for procurement activities.
• Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and technologies, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
• Ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in procurement activities while maintaining quality standards.
• Foster and manage strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with Kmart's values and expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

• 7+ years extensive experience in procurement in a retail or similar fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead high-value negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and optimize procurement processes.
• Experience with procurement technology and systems to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
